Moringa Guacamole

The classic mexican sauce. And even healthier.

I admit, it was a little bit of an experience, but it turned out to be a great combination. Not everything works with the grassy taste of moringa (it’s the chlorophyll) and it’s always a fine line between just covering up a certain taste or combine it well. Here I added a little bit of lime zest and a tiny bit of agave syrup to balance it out.

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon moringe powder
  • 1 clove of carlic
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1/2 lime (juice & zest)
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup (or sugar)
  • Salt, black pepper

Mash or blend the avocado in a small bowl. Quickly add lime juice and zest and mix again. Press garlic with the garlic press into the bowl. Add moringe powder, minced onion, agave sysrup, salt and pepper and mix well. Serve with fresh vegetables or nachos.

Baobab Energy Balls

These little non-bake protain bombs are the perfect after workout snack!

Recipe for 10-12 pc.

  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1-2 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoon baobab powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon grated almonds

another 1 tablespoon of grated coconut to cover the balls.

Soak chia seeds in water and agave syrup for 5 minutes. Then add almond butter. In another small bowl mix the dry ingredients. Mix everything. Form the dough into small balls, mine were something like pralinée sized.

If the dough is too sticky, add more baobab and coconut powder, if it’s too dry add just a few drops of fresh water (carfully).

Roll the balls in grated coconut and put it in the fridge. Best they are one day after you prepared them but you can keep them in the fridge for at least one week.

Chocolate balls with coconut and Moringa powder:

Sweethy Moringa

Ingredients for 4 people:

    • 100g of butter
    • 100g of cooking chocolate
    • 100g of ice-sugar
    • 80g of coconut flakes
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons of rhum
    • 2 teaspoons of Baobab Powder Miasecrets

Cut the baking chocolate into small pieces. Put this chocolate melted in a double boiler and melt it gently stirring constantly with a spatula to get a smooth paste.

Then Add sugar and ice-vanilla extract and then add 50g flaked coconut, Moringa powder and rhum.

Mix without whipping.

When the preparation has become very firm shape into small balls using a teaspoon and then roll them in the remaining coconut flakes. Keep your cool meatballs until consumption.

Allow to cool a little while ensuring that your mix remains soft. Then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Iceberg

Power Ice

Ingredients for 2 people

    • 1/2 vanilla bean
    • 40g of baobab Powder “Miasecrets”
    • 100 ml of whole milk
    • 50 ml of liquid whipping cream
    • 1 egg white
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • chocolate sauce

Mix in a bowl, the egg white, the Baobab powder and sugar.

In another container mix the cream and milk.

Stir in milk and cream egg mixture baobab.

Mix so that the mixture becomes homogeneous, place in freezer and serves with the chocolate sauce.

Miasecrets Smoothie

Tonic Smoothie

Ingredients for 1 liter:

  • 2 tablespoons of ”Miasecrets” Baobab Powder
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 l infusion of ”Miasecrets”Moringa powder (let steep 2 tablespoons of this super fruit in a quart of warm water)
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 grapefruits
  • You always can put some sugar if you like it.

      Infuse baobab powder into the mixture, (Moringa Powder + water for 2 hours), then strain knead. Add them bananas, honey, grapefruit juice squeezed. Pass everything in a blender and sieve. Drink fresh.

Naans Moringa Cheese

Energetics Indian Bread

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 300g of flour
  • 1 natural yoghurt
  • 6 ounces of hot water
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 10 grs of yeast
  • 12 servings of cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of ”Miasecrets”moringa Powder
  • 1 tablespoon of tomatos paste
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 of chili pepper
    • Mix the flour and baking powder and add salt, powdered moringa leaf, the oil and hot water. Triturate long way to get a nice smooth paste.

      Divide into 8 slices, spread the pieces and let stand for ten minutes.

      During that time prepare the filling. Finely chop the garlic and chilly pepper (as desired) and add the cheese. Slice the peppers and sauté a few minutes made​​. Then add the peppers and cheese with tomato, salt and pepper. Mash well with a fork preparation and spread it on the dough pieces. Close by pressing firmly around the edges.

      In a frying pan and a little oil, cook 4 minutes on each side and serve with a salad.

Exotic Baobab Smoothie

For 2-3 glasses of creamy baobab smoothie

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 passion fruit (pulp)
  • 4 pinapple slices (with juice)
  • 2 tablespoons baobab powder
  • 1 teaspoon bourbon vanille
  • 1 tablesppon agave syrup
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 ice cubes
    • Mix everything in the blender until its smooth, then serve in glasses with straws.

Moringa Burger

Ingrédients for 4 Hamburger

  • 450g of minced beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons of ”Miasecrets” Moringa powder
  • 4 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 2 hamburger rolls
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 4 thin slices of Emmental cheese
  • Oil for cooking

Cut the onions into thin slices and fry in hot oil for about 10 minutes.
Sprinkle onions sugar and deglaze with balsamic vinegar. Add 2 teaspoon of Moringa powder and bring to a boil until the onions are tender and soft (about 5 minutes).
Mix one part of caramelized onions with the ground beef, egg and a teaspoon of Moringa powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything evenly. Then form your burgers (1-2 cm thick) and cook them in oil, turning them so that they are cooked on both sides.
Open your buns (by cutting them in the middle, if they are not already off). . Spread the bottom with mustard and ketchup part, then cover with a sheet of iceberg lettuce and a few tomato slices. Now add the hamburger and cover with remaining onions and close the sandwich.

You always can eat it with the salad or frites.

Moringa cream soup

Moringa Soup

Perfect on rainy October days

  • 1kg zucchini
  • 4 potatoes
  • 150g type cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of Miasecrets Moringa Powder
  • 20ml fresh cream (optional)
  • 1l chicken bouillon
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Peel and slice the zucchini and potatoes. Cook for 30 minutes in the broth, then add the moringa leaf powder. Blend before serving with the cheese and cream. Enjoy!

Hibiscus Cake

The Energy Cake

  • 2 eggs whites
  • 100g of almonds
  • 50g of rice flour
  • 3 tablespoons of sugars
  • 3 tablespoons of ” Miasecrets” Hibiscus powder
  • 5ml of water
  • 2 Tablespoons of melted butter

preheat your oven to 180 ° C for 15 min.
Infuse hibiscus powder for 15 min (lid closed).
In a bowl, quickly whisk the egg whites with sugar (without making snow)
Add the ground almonds, rice flour and melted butter. Mix. Using a fine sieve filter the brew leaving only the juice.
Mix the preparation.
Pour the mixture into your cake pans financial shape.
Put in the oven.
